System Overview
Getting Started
Step by step process of setting up and configuring a lifter. For wired, you plug the lifter directly into the controller / breakout box
4 Lifter Range Setup
In about 5 minutes you can setup a complete kit. This is using a wireless kit, wired can take longer depending on your setup.
The lifters / controller configuration process
The video demonstrates the different usage of the lifters and how to set it up, each lifter is capable of each type. It only requires you to physically change the lifter, and then change the mode on the controller.
NOTE: This video shows an older version of the controller, but still gives an idea of how the system works.

Wireless - 8 Lifters
Controller
The controller can power 4x lifters but has the ability to control an unlimited number of lifters through the use of Breakout Boxes. The Standard version can only control 4 lifters groups where the Commercial / LE version can control 8. The controller is powered by an internal rechargeable battery that changes via USB-C. It provides more than 2,000 lifts on a charge or about 8 hours of normal use. The controller has four modes:
Manual: Each press of the numbered buttons will cycle between “show” and hide” on the lifter group.
If the LED is on next to the number the lifter is in “show”. If the lifter is in “Rotate” mode, a long press of
the button will display the opposite side of the target (shoot/no shoot).
All Targets: Manually activate all lifters simultaneously by pressing button “1”.
Set the time between 1-60 seconds to have targets move from “show” to “hide” in that amount of time.
(timed qualifications, etc.). When time is set to 0, targets will only move when button 1 is pressed.
Random: Choose between different difficulties and time limited random drills using the arrow buttons.
Press button “1” to start, which will begin after 1 beep. 3 beeps will signal the operation is complete.
Drill: Choose between different difficulties and time limited preset drills using the arrow buttons.
Pressing button 1-4 will choose a different consistent preset drill. 1 beep signals start of drill.
3 beeps will signal the operation is complete.
Once each lifter has been physically setup in either pop up, rotate or peek you simply press the target button it will cycle between show, or hidden.
The controller is not designed to be left outdoors overnight or for use during inclement weather. It hasn’t had a problem being outdoors for a week at a time occasionally. It was not designed for it and it may age faster than expected, for this and that is not recommend.
Lifters
Designed to lift a full size IPSC cardboard target on a 20”-46” inch long 1”x 2” piece of wood in about 1 second (with a full charge). The lifter has enough power to overcome 10-15 mph winds or handle larger targets, such as 24” by 36” cardboard backers. The lifter can be arranged to have targets pop up from the ground, around a corner or rotate, allowing for shoot / no shoot scenarios.
You set each lifter’s to the mode ( Pop up, Rotate, Peak) and lifter group number (1-8). Multiple lifters can be set to the same lifter group number allowing for many more than 8 lifters be to be used at once.
The lifter is not designed to be left outdoors overnight or for use during inclement weather. It hasn’t had a problem being outdoors for a week at a time occasionally. It was not designed for this and that is not recommend.
The Lifter uses standard 3 pin XLR cable. Using 16 AWG XLR cable it works up to ~ 90 meters . With 20AWG it works up to ~40 yards. Using rotating only mode it will work past 100 yards with 20AWG or greater cable.
The cable can be daisy chained together, IE you can connect two 35 ft cables to make a 70ft cable.
Wireless Receiver / Motion
WIRELESS:
This box allows you to cut the cable and reach out over 300 meters in decent conditions, and over 1000 meters in ideal conditions.
There are several wireless channel you can choose from incase the area you are in has interference at a particular frequency. Can be used to work with and power two independent lifters at once.
MOTION:
The box also can detect motion and trigger a target to move. There are several settings to allow the operator to have the best experience for the users. See the support page (coming soon) for details about the settings and menu. Both outputs will send the same signal to lifters based on the motion settings.
Base / Mount
A dovetail system is used to allow for quickly attaching and detaching lifters from the mount.
Base Mount - can be attached to a suitable piece of wood or other material to create a stable base. One included with each lifter.
Standard Base - With an approx. 44” footprint when assembled it allows for a stable platform. Disassembled, the largest portion is less than 22”. Easy to store and transport, this option makes setup, teardown and storage simple.
Commercial / LE Base - With an approx. 56” footprint when assembled it allows for a stable platform. Disassembled, the largest portion is less than 26”. Easy to store and transport, this option makes setup, teardown and storage simple.
This design used black carbon plastic and it stronger than the standard base.
“Static” Target Stand - Focus on Potability
Packing up into a small / light bag this is the most portable target stand that seems to exist. Easily fit more than dozen target stands in a small vehicle.
Setup in about 2 minutes / take down in about 1 minute. Everything (other than carboard target) fits into a 26”x7”x7” bag that weighs just over 5lbs.
This was created out of of the frustration of fitting multiple target stands in a smaller vehicle for the 2 hour drive to federal land where you could shoot, this allow for more room for more people other items.
Warranty and Returns
-
We offer a one year warranty for the standard version and a 2 year warranty for the LE / Commercial version. This warranty includes manufacture defects in the product as well as normal wear and tear.
Future Accessories
In the development pipeline we currently have a hit sensor and system for linear and or vertical movement. These are slated for mid 2025.
Shoot / No Shoot Targets
Challenge Targets
There are several solutions for shoot / no shoot targets from various venders. Below are links to different products that have worked for us.
